Osedea joins forces with Genius ERP on AI-powered transformation in manufacturing

We’re thrilled to announce our latest AI collaboration, officially backed by Scale AI and unveiled today alongside Minister Solomon. This $2.6M project—$1M of which is funded by Scale AI—aims to push the limits of ERP performance with intelligent, purpose-built modules for the manufacturing sector.

Genius ERP is a robust platform designed specifically for custom manufacturers. It brings together core functions like inventory management, quoting, scheduling, and production planning. Together with the Genius team, we’re bringing AI directly into the workflow to increase speed, accuracy, and value.

Three AI modules. One smarter ERP.

This project integrates three distinct AI components into the existing Genius ERP system:

• Smart Inventory Module – Built using Bidirectional LSTM and NARX models, this tool predicts inventory needs, production timelines, and supplier delays by combining historical data with real-time market trends.
  
  
• Enhanced Quotation Module – Using a fine-tuned RoBERTa NER model, this module extracts essential details from client communications to generate faster, more accurate quotes. Future iterations will integrate email plugins to simplify quoting even further.
  
  
• Conversational Agent – Powered by Llama 3.1 and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), this assistant supports users by interpreting documentation and offering AI-driven guidance, tailored to specific customer contexts.
  

Tangible impact for Canadian manufacturing

Real innovation creates measurable value. The project is expected to generate over $14 million in new revenue for Genius ERP and support up to $15 million in growth and $137 million in cost savings for up to 150 Canadian manufacturers.
